Opus Seafood DateNight

This past weekend Matt and I got to have a Date Night! It's been awhile so we were pretty excited and spared to expense in a lavish night together. We went to Opus Seafood in the marina district here local. Its a quiet and romantic place with excellent food. When you go, go, go all the time with family, work, T-ball and all the details in between its a real treat to spend some time one-on-one with your spouse.

The entrance to the restaurant! Here we come and relax and enjoy ourselves!

My handsome date... After 10 years dating this man its still exciting to spend time with him! We started off with some white wine. Super crisp apple flavors!

Our appetizer was eggplant brushetta. The eggplant was crispy topped with tomatoes, feta, red onion, and shrimp. There was some spices but I could not quite tell what they were.

I got the salmon special with roasted potatoes and green beans. The salmon had a vodka cream sauce on top. I'm also a big fan of their Chilean sea bass.

Matt had the seafood sampler special with shrimp, scallops, and lobster tails along with roasted potatoes and green beans. As you can imagine we chowed down.

We finished our meal off with classic bread pudding. Our meal was so rich I think we both just wanted to lay belly up afterwards.

So feeling full we took a romantic walk down to the marina! I quickly got my pictures out of the way so we can actually enjoy ourselves without the phone.... technology today... its important to just disconnect sometimes!

My Love.
